The Gravity of Happiness

There’s something in the gentle flow of her veil that demands you cease breathing.

As if her weightless grace was actually a diffusion of gravity within the church.

You watch her dab her leaking eyes – that which she cannot hold being occupied with happiness.

You see him smile.

You see many smiles with glistening eyes to match.

Yet nothing is as apparent as the gravity of happiness.
